The wait is over! Our signature house made Swiss meringue buttercream, renowned for being so silky and smooth is finally here.
Use the same buttercream we use on all our desserts to pipe onto your cupcakes, small dessert or cake - store bought or home-baked (shhh we won't tell anyone!) Not overly sweet and the perfect consistency for icing and/or piping.
This buttercream is so versatile and can be coloured and flavoured to suit your dessert. Alternatively, we can leave it plain and uncoloured (off-white) for you to add your personal touch.
** Colours Black, Navy Blue + Brown contain a small amount of cocoa powder to achieve a depthness in colour as oppose to adding a large amount of food gel colouring. This gives the buttercream a slight chocolate flavour.
Preparation: On the day of use, bring the buttercream to room temperature. Once at room temperature, place into a large bowl and mix using a spatula until smooth and air bubbles removed. Tap the bowl on the bench to also release air bubbles.
Please note that coloured buttercream may develop a little more once it leaves our premise. To ensure consistency in colour, mix thoroughly before use.
Room temperature - up to 24 hours
Fridge - up to 10 days in an airtight container/ziplock bag
Freezer - up to 3 months in an airtight container/ziplock bag
Signature Swiss Meringue Buttercream 700g
Our 450g portion size will ice 12 regular size cupcakes or 40 mini cupcakes.
Our 700g portion size will ice 18 regular size cupcakes or fill + semi naked a 6" round cake.
Our 900g portion size will ice 24 regular size cupcakes or fill, crumb coat and final coat a 6" round cake.
